I just love Audrey Hepburn! In fact I love old movies and old movie stars! So glamourous and flawless! I love that era! Anyway, as part of the retro beauty tips series here is an Audrey beauty tip! Rumor has it that the perfect baby doll Audrey Hepburn used to use a pin to separate each lash as she applied a layer of mascara to every lash individually. She did have perfect lashes but that is a lot of work don't you think??? she was gorgeous though right?

Retro Beauty Tips Marilyn Monroe

I totally love Marilyn Monroe, I have a gorgeous picture of her in my bedroom. Anyway, I just found out today that she did some strange things to keep herself looking fresh on camera.  She used to apply a PH Hormone cream to her face before she applied her foundation,  layering it on really thick to give her skin a glow on camera. This cream caused her to develop thick blonde hairs on her face!

A better way to get this look would be to apply a really good quality primer as a base, and then foundation and a shimmering powder as a highlight. I love Smashbox photo finish foundation primer
