The gorgeous Solange married her beau, music video director, Alan Ferguson this weekend. True to Solange's style and vibe she tied the knot in front of friends and family in New Orleans in a stunning, elegant and edgy ceremony, With the guests dressed in white and the bridge and groom rocking up on matching white bicycles. Pink Intrigue Loves: Willow Smith

Oh my my my! Willow Smith is giving me life right now. At the tender age of just 14 she is dropping some gems. I have heard a lot of people dissing her like she is grown. Remember she is still a baby! She  is riding on the neo soul, alternative R&B trippy wave right now. I adore this style of music, it sends to me another planet.

I watched her performance with her brother Jaden the other day. They performed a tune called '5' I scrolled through the comments and there was a lot of negative feedback. This didn't affect my opinion. Her style is interesting, she may have some developing to do in terms of vocals. But so what, she is still really young. 

I also caught her glimpse of her performance with SZA. At one point I was kind of obsessed with SZA. But I digress, let's get back to the star of the show. Willow, she reminds me of the 1960's. Even though I wasn't alive in that era. She has something authentic about her. Like she just allows her creative juices to flow with no inhibition. I really hope that she maintains that authenticity. Some have it and they lose it as they become tainted by reality. Tainted by endless criticism and the need to fit into some kind of society constructed box. 

I'm excited, very excited about the musical progression and evolution of Willow Smith. Check out the performances below. As well a really dope freestyle called 'Female Energy'

30 Selfies in 30 Days Instagram Challenge: Complete!

Hey beautiful people!  I have just completed my 30 selfies in 30 days challenge over on my personal Instagram page. The purpose of the challenge was to improve my confidence and to encourage people to love themselves more. Social media has a way of making you feel like crap, especially if you have low self esteem. With all these airbrushed pictures of celebs, and airbrushed pictures of wannabe celebs. It can make you want to bury your head in a very thick duvet and cry for days.

My confidence dropped dramatically after I had my son. I still haven't fully lost my baby weight and at one point I was struggling with my self confidence. Recently my self esteem has shot up, but I really wanted to do something to encourage people, especially women to look at themselves in the mirror and love themselves. I am not  just talking about loving the exterior, I am also talking about loving yourself from the inside.

On day 1 of the challenge, I actually felt like crap. I was pretty tired, pretty run down and I was kind of fed up to be honest. Although my confidence levels were higher than they were when my son was younger. I still did not feel my best, by the end of the 7th day on the challenge I felt great. There were some days when I really didn't feel like taking a selfie. I really just wanted to cover my face with a cloth and then take the selfie. On days like this, I actually just made a piece of photo art. I am  really glad I did the challenge, and I am looking forward to doing more 30 day challenges.

Whilst tumbling on one of my fave social network sites, Tumblr. I came across this really cool painting. In fact there were a number of them. This was just my favourite one. The painting is by Philippe Vignall.  It depicts an exceptionally beautiful dark skin woman. On first glance, I thought it was a photograph. After further inspection I realised that it was in fact a painting.

Hey beautiful people! I am thinking about designing a perfect white workspace. I have been totally obsessed with searching interior design pics on Tumblr and here some of the cool pics I have found. I am going to put together a mood board and get to work really soon on this.  My home workspace is a bit all over the place at the moment and it is seriously doing my head in. I need to do something about it. I love the clean minimalist look, so that's the look I am aiming  for.

I've been in NYC, the city of dreams. It's the best place for me. I feel so at home, the art, culture, fashion, the smell in the air. I can walk and walk and walk for hours in the city of dreams. I love it, it's my utopia.

Oh, and today I stumbled across a really cool, classy mini boutique in East London. They had some very swish African print pieces in there. One of my bloggers sent me this link today, and I just had to post it up. I really have not been keeping track of the extended Jackson family. I had no idea that Taryll Jackson was even still singing, or that he had released any material. The song 'Best of All Time' was written by Taryll Jackson, Tito Jackson's son for his Late uncle Michael. Being honest, the song is not amazing, it is sweet and heartfelt but there is nothing special about it.

If you are a fan of BeautyCrush on YouTube, you will be aware that she recently did a video about her boob job. I rarely watch her videos these days although I do think she has done an amazing job making a living as a YouTuber and blogger. However, I really did not think she needed to justify why she got a boob job. I can fully understand her wanting to help other girls who wish to do the same thing. However, I just think she tried to justify herself far too much in the video.

Michael Jackson New Album 'Xscape'

I know this post comes pretty late after the news that a new Michael Jackson album would be released. However, I have been contemplating whether or not it is actually good news. If you know me well, you will  know that I am the biggest Michael Jackson fan ever. I would love to hear new MJ material, he is and always will be my number 1 music idol. However, I was, and still am just a little concerned as to who is going to be profiting in Michael's absence. Obviously the Michael Jackson estate will get a cut, but who else? Sony? Yes of course they will get something, and personally I would rather they don't continue to make coin out of Michael's fame.

Anyway, moving on to the details about the album.  The album is a collaborative effort between L.A Reid, Stargate, Jerome "Jroc" Harmon, John McClain, Rodney Jerkins and others. It will feature songs from Michael Jackson's catalogue, and it will also include 8 new unheard tracks.

A statement from LA Reid read:  

'Modern music and artistry would look and sound completely different if not for the groundbreaking contributions Michael Jackson gifted to the world. Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with. We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world' L.A. Reid announced.

Pre orders commenced on April 1st on iTunes. The official release date for Xscape is May 13.

I just wanted to take this moment to congratulate 19 year old Jermain Jackman, winner of The Voice UK 2014. It was an emotional moment watching him win because he is not only a singer, but he is an aspiring politician. With this win really does come great responsibility, like his mentor Will i Am said.  It really is going to take a lot of dedication and focus  because he is an ambassador for the Youth of London.
